Category: External galaxy.

Description:
At 135x (15mm Panoptic, 30.1' true field), this galaxy appeared very faint.  
Elongated NW/SE, it appeared about 1.5' long and perhaps half as wide.  It
has an extended, 0.5' core which fades rapidly into the surrounding haze. 
A near-stellar nucleus was detectable about 1/4 of the time.  NGC7457 is on 
the Herschel II list.
