Description:
Beta Ori is a very blue and very bright star, I am unable to split with 25mm or 10mm eyepiece. However Beta Ori has a very distinctive hue to it. With rigel centered in my FOV @ 25mm eyepiece i note 2 stars to the west very dim one the most northern of the two seems yellow in colour poss G type star 3 smaller stars appear in the north of Beta ori very faint unable to make out colour. Beta Ori spetral type: B8Iae HR Number 1713.
