Description:
What can i say my first true fuzzie. I have been trying to bag this one for
four days with clouds etc this translates into 2 months!! Tonight i was not
going to give up finding this elusive object took me nigh on 1 hour. Still with
the aid of skymap pro and a few quickly learned features i was able to get M1 in my FOV. At first sight i was not sure i had anything at all. The Crab nebula at first kept appearing at the very limit of my vision constantly fluctuating
making me strain to try and climpse some detail. the only thing i noticed at 48x was the uniform structure the whole nebula look to be of a similar alround
density to me. i tried some magnification at 125x but could not get the object
in focus at all. However all told i was impressed that i manged to find this
object and made a point of noting where my rigel finder was and my 10*50
finder so that i would know how to find this under better skies...
