Description:
A close meighbor to M46, but rather different in appearance.  There are brighter stars and the structure is much more open. It is rather amorphous with njo noticable shape.The brighter stars all seem to be blue with the faihnter stars seemingly orange or red. In the center of the FOV is a pair, rather tight at this power, equla magnitude, with an estimated PA of about 290-300.
