NGC4550
120X- A thin spindle oriented N-S. The halo is difficult, but the core is bright and sharply defined.

NGC4551
120X- A dim fat oval gradually brightening to a bright softly defined core.

NGC4551 lies 3'10" N-E from NGC4550.
