Description:
NGC4781; Galaxy; 11.1v mag; 3.5' x 1.8'SZ; RA:12:54.5, DEC:-10:32.9.
220X-NGC4781 is fairly bright, elongatednESE-WNW. It is generally oval shaped
with a Southward pointing hook of the CW sweeping upper spiral arm.The halo is
motteled with several knots around the perphery. The core is poorly organized
and clumpy. The Northern edge of the core is flat in appearance with the flat
running parallel to the major axis of the halo. An easy star is imposed on the
disc inside the Northern hook. A small dim object NGC4784 is located to the SE
at 5' 40".

NGC4784: 15.0v mag; 1.8' x 0.4'SZ; RA:12:54.7, DEC:-10:03.6
220X-NGC4784 Very faint almost star-like spot, but just a little fuzzy. Requires dark shroud and slow panning of field to detect with averted vision. I can't hold it and only can suspect it's there?
