Description:
NGC4856; Galaxy; 10.5v mag: 4.6' x 1.6'SZ; RA:12:59.4, DEC:-15:03.
120X-NGC4856 is a moderatly bright oval fading away at the ends. An oval core
with a large round, bright nucleus A faint star lies in the SE edge of the halo.
21'32" to the SE  is a faint thin oval galaxy NGC4877.

NGC4877: Galaxy; 13.0v mag; 2.7' x 1.3'SZ; RA:13:00.1, DEC:-15:17.
120X-NGC has a very faint halo, gradually brightning to a small weak linear
core. A neat serpentine stream of faint stars run from NE of NGC4877 Southward
to a much brighter star. (9.67v mag)
