Description:
This is a string of stars in Monoceros that form a "3" but then in mirrored
view. It is not to difficult to spot, but you need a good finder chart, starting
of at Sirius. The string consists of 15 stars abouth magnitude 9 or 10
which together form the mirrored "3". The brightness is average, the size
is abouth 35'. The asterism stands out very well from its surroundings.
Philip S. Harrington describes the asterism in his book "The Deep Sky, an
introduction". He gives a good descripton how to find it.
