Easier to locate than IC 2196 as it had brighter nearby stars, averted vision allowed this Galaxy to be seen as a definite presence and for tiny snatches of time it was possible to detect looking directly at it, oddly enough though it was only visible at 100 X, increase to 200 X and it seemed to disappear??!
