Position: RA 8:52' 41"  DEC +33:25' 3"
Description:
At 100x (20mm Orion Ultrascopic, true field = 31'), NGC2683 was large and 
bright.  Estimated size at 4'x1, NE/SW'.  Brightens gradually toward the core.  
Fades gradually from the brighter central 1' to 1.5' area.  A faint, 13th mag. 
star lies just north of the NE edge.  Hints of mottling in the central area.
NGC2683 is on the Herschel 400 list.
