Description:
At 100x (20mm Orion Ultrascopic, 31' fov), n2964 was a rather amorphus, nearly
featureless glow about 1.5' in size. A slight brightening toward the center
was fairly apparent. In the same field with NGC2968.
NGC2964 is on the Herschel 400 list.
