Description:
120X-NGC6171 is a large bright round glowing area with some brigh stars
scattered across the field. 3 brighter field stars form an obtuse triangle with
NGC6171 near the center of the hypotenuse.

220X-NGC6171 is fairly large and easy bright, but sparsely populated except for
the concentrated center which appears elogated E-W, almost dual condensations.
It seems fully resolved as most of the stars observed appear to be surrounded by dark sky. The cluster stares are considerably brighter tha the galactic halo stars, but there are several foreground stars that are cosiderably brighter. 2 of them are superimposed on the central concentration.
