Description:
STF 1424 is more commonly known as Gamma-Leo. This system has 4 componets. The A-B pair is not fully resolvable at 100x in my scope tonight. They appear elongated. The PA is recorded as 125 degrees and the separation is 4.5 arc seconds. These values are from the lititure and not actually measured. The pair are golden-yellow in colour.
The 'C' star is visible at an observed PA of 160 degrees. The separation is approximately 360 arc seconds. The 'C" star is yellow-white, with a reported magnitude of 9.6
The 'D' star is not visible tonight. It has a reported magnitude of 10.
