Description:
I attempted to split STF 1670 (Gamma Virgo). This pair are both 2nd magnitude stars with a reported separation of 2 arc seconds. I could not get a clean split, but there was an obvious East-West elongation which corresponds to the reported PA of 260 degress. The 15th magnitude 'C' star was not visible tonight.
