Description:
The tightest pair on the list and the highest DI. I examined several candidates in the low power FOV without being able to determine anything. I bumped up one step in power and again examined several, finally settling on one which looked to be a bit elongated. With more more bump in magnification, it was definately elongated and possibly split, and was cleanly split with the super high power. There was a very faint star to the west, perhaps about 50” or 60” away.
