Description:
At 58x (35mm Ultima, 50' tfov), NGC7261 coevered a 10'x5' NE/SW area. It
appeared somewhat detached from the background with 20 faint to barely resolved
stars. A second group, that may be part of the cluster, is semi-detached to the
south, 5' in size, and consists of a half dozen stars. The four brightest
members are located in the NE part of the cluster and form a noticable
quadrilateral.
