Description:
At 100x (20mm Ultrascopic, 30' TFOV)NGC6553 is a 3', roundish, gray haze with
a rather uniform brightness across the central 2'. From there NGC6553 fades
slowly to the edge. A tiny, 10th? (actually 11th) magnitude star is in PA 320
1.5' from the center.
