Description:
This was kind of an interesting observation. At the time of the observation, this was behind the trees and seen through the leaves. It was easily split, but I believe the brightness of the stars was considerably dimmer; the leaves had the effect of stopping down the scope. I couldn’t tell much about color because of this, but I estimated the PA at about 250-260 degrees or the flip side of this: 70-80 degrees: I couldn’t really tell which was the primary.
