Category: External galaxy.

Position: RA 12:44  DEC +32:10
Description:
A long, thin halo aligned NE-SW.  The halo is of uneven brightness, being
brightest on the SW end and becoming fainter as it extends to the NE.  There
was no detectable core.  Located with averted vision at 36x.  Did not bear
magnification well.  Best seen at 68x-72x.

The galaxy NGC 4657 which is located in the same field could not be identified.
