Description:
At 145x (12.5mm Ultima, 21' true field) the galaxy NGC 2976 appeared large and
diffuse with an estimated size of 5'x2.5' oriented NNW/SSE. Brightness is even
across nearly the entire surface. A faint star is 1.5' west of center, while
an extremely faint stars lies just 0.5' off the north edge of the galaxy.
