Description:
A large, faint, round to very slightly oval halo which appears to be quite
uniform.  There is gradual brightening to a fairly bright, distinctly
nonstellar core.  Several faint field stars are scattered across the galaxy
position with the brightest located just off the N. edge of the core.
Located with averted vision at 68x.  It did not magnify well, fading into 
the background at higher powers.  Best seen at 72x with the use of a 2x
Barlow lens.
