Description:
120x- NGC3162 appears as a weak tadpole shape diffuse halo with a slightly brighter broad core with fleeting glimpses of a stellar nucleus. The tail of the Tadpole arcs c'cw toward the S.S.W. with the outer halo a very weak oval enclosing the tapole shape. There is a 13.0v star superimposed on the halo in the S.E. quadrant. No other DSO's visable in the FOV.
