Description:
A soft nebulous glow of slightly oval shape.  There is gradual brightening
to a fairly bright, during moments of steady seeing, nearly stellar core.
Located with averted vision at 77x.  Best seen at 128x.  It begins to fade
into the background at 257x.

NOTE: Uranometria 2000.0 plots 3 additional galaxies inside of a 45' field
centered on NGC 1453.  These average 13th magnitude and none could be located.
