Location of site: The Scales, VA (Lat 36:43, Elev 4686')
Site classification: Rural
Sky darkness: 7/10 <1-10 Scale (10 best)>

Moon presence: None - moon not in sky
Instrument: 56CM; f:4.1 StarMaster Dob
Magnification: 220X
Filter(s): None
Object(s): NGC5560
Category: External galaxy.
Class: SB
Constellation: Vir
Data: mag 11.5p size 6.7' x 2.1'
Position: RA 14:20.3 DEC +03:56
Description:
220X-NGC5560 appears as a diffuse oval significently brighter toward the center.
The core is bright, round, but diffuse on the E-W edges. There is a faint wisp
of light sweeping N-S. It is just detectable with averted vision.

NGC5566, Galaxy; 11.5p; 6.7' x 2.1'; Class: SBab; RA14:20:20, Dec +03:56
lies 5.2' to the S-E, an easy SB with a bright core and barely detectable arms
neary N-S. Averted vision confirms the arms as very faint extensions from the
core.

NGC5569, Galaxy; 13.9p; 2.5' x 1.3'; Class: SABcd; RA14:20:32, Dec +03:58
lies 6.8' to the East. It is very, very faint, only suspect. I cannot detect it
every time with averted vision, so I must log it as not observed.
Sky conditions are gradually detoriating, but no observing opportunity can go
unheeded.

No other DSO's are detectable in the FOV.
