Description:
120X-NGC6717; A globular Cluster 2.0' South of Nu-2 Sagittarii appears as a
faint glowing spot with 5 stars resolved with direct vision. In the center
there seems to be a small glowing spot, however the outer halo is lost in the
glare from Nu-2. The whole field is sparkling with stars and a brighter one
lies Southwest from Nu-2.
220X-NGC6717 I can't decide if the 5 stars near the center are actual cluster
stars or if they are field stars. They are too dim to see color which would be
a hint. However they are auspiciously spaced to be cluster stars. This glob is
extremely weak. I am sure of the observation for it is in the right place
relative to the background with Nu-2 being the dominant star.
