Description:
134X-NGC3156 appears as a diffuse oval with a fairly weak halo and moderately
bright core.

254X-NGC3156 appears as a elongated oval with an eccentricity of about 0.5. The
core is moderately bright, but diffuse making it's boundry uncertain. The
Galaxy is located 1.9' distant at PA287 from a 9.1 mag star, SAO 118165. No
other DSO's are in the FOV, but NGC3166, a 11.3 mag Galaxy lies 30 arcmin to
the N.E. and NGC3169, a 11.9 mag Galaxy lies just beyond.
