Description:
At 172x (10.5 mm Pentax XL, 23' field) NGC 2345 was an 8'x5', loose, 
uncompressed cluster with 50 stars visible.  A nearly starless, narrow lane 
runs NW/SE separating the cluster into two halves with an equal number of
stars.  Members display a fairly wide range of magnitudes from moderately
bright to the edge of resolution.
