Description:
NGC3511: 11mag, 5,4x2’. At 342x bright 4x1,2’ oval that features an elongated
core of ~30”. With averted vision I could faintly see a spiral arm structure in
the galaxy’s western side. Both ends of the oval touch two faint stars (approx
13 and 14 mag).
NGC3513: 11,5mag, 3x2,5’. Round faint glow of 3’ diameter that shows a faint
elongated (E-W) core.The distance between the two galaxies is about 10’.
Nice and easy target in constallation Crater.
