Description:
At 342x the galaxy features 2 bright lobes divided by a wide dark lane. The SW
part is brighter and a fairly bright star is situated in front of
this lobe. The northern half of the dark lane seems to be structured and
divided by a bright filament. There is a second fainter star visible in front
of the N end of the dark lane. Cen A looks a bit like a round hamburger
sandwich. Not that spectacular under less than perfectly clear skies.
