Description:
NGC 5907: Galaxy in Draco. Aka The Splinter galaxy. Faint, extremely
elongated north to south, with a bright elongated center. Brightness
in the center suddenly fades and then continues to slowly fade as it
extends outwards on both ends. The dust lane was not seen. Hidden
within this galaxy is a very challenging smaller galaxy NGC 5906., On
the western edge of 5907 is a star I used as a pointer star to locate
NGC 5906. I could'nt confirm a visual on NGC 5906, but maybe perhaps
the bright enlongated center inside of NGC 5907 possibly(?) could be
NGC 5906.
