Description:
Very scattered group of around 15 * without a trace of "nebulosity" or
fainter stars. All the * are of similar magnitude. Not very impressive.

The Moon was very close this time, but I've seen this cluster before
and I can say that it didn't look much better on moonless nights. I
never saw more than 20 stars in it.

The cluster is midway between NGC1647 and Elnath (Beta Tauri, close
to M1). It shouldn't be mistaken for nearby NGC1647, because those 2
clusters couldn't be more different!
