Description:
Nice wide pair of similarly bright galaxies. NGC 2713 appears brighter and
bigger. Its shape is oval and the size approx 3x1,5'. At 342x I could see a
faint almost stellar core. NGC 2716 is slightly fainter, not as elongated and
shows a brighter center but no core or nucleus. 2716 is approx 1x0,8' in size.
6° south of the pair is the rich galaxy-group NGC 2695,97,98,99,2702,06,08,09 etc.
