Description:
117X - NGC6340 appears as a tiny round glowing spot slightly brighter toward
the center. No other features are detectable.
254X - NGC6340 With direct vision is still a small round glowing spot that has
a noticably brighter core that exhibits a bright non-stellar nucleus. The edge
of the halo seems diffuse. There is an uneven pair of stars 2.5' N-W from the
galaxy. There are no other DSO's visable in the FOV.
