Description:
This very nice globular shows a very dense 1,5' core that is not completely 
resolved into single stars even at 342x magnification. The outer parts of M80 are 
resolved into single stars, though.The halo extends to some 7' diameter. To me M 80 
does even look better than the very bright huge but loose globular M4 near Antares.
