Description:
It was a very clear night. One of the best skies available in a city. With moderate-low light pollution, 5th magnitude stars were on the edge of visiblity. I could not actually resolve the stars of Omega centauri so well because of the effect of light pollution high above the southern horizon. Well I was really fascinated when I saw M4 because I had never seen it with my 2 inch refractor. Another thing was that it was readily resolved into stars through averted vision.
