Description:
In Hercules, at ~ 2½° S of êta Her. This great globular cluster is located almost at the zenith at the time of this observation. The sight is amazing! The core of M13 is very bright, although it is not stellar in appearance, and visible with direct vision. By using the averted vision, the size of the object really does not increase, like it occurs sometimes with other globular clusters of lower brightness.
