Description:
After seeing the Hubble Space Telescope of this nebula, I knew that I had to
give it a try. It is rather easy and obvious at low power, being several
arcminutes across. With averted vision, this object's trademark, a T-shaped
dark cloud next to the bright central star, is an easy find, and increasing the
magnification helps slightly. While not a stunning object, this is worth a view
the next time you're viewing nearby M42.
