Description:
A faint, uniform, round to slightly oval halo.  It shows slight, gradual,
diffuse brightening toward the core.  Visible with averted vision at 77x,
it was best seen at 128x.  A wide pair of 8th and 9th magnitude stars
aligned NW-SE are located ~5' off the SE edge and point directly toward
the galaxy.

Note: While Uranometria 2000.0 (2nd edition) plots several additional
galaxies inside of a 128x (34') field centered on NGC564, none except
NGC564 itself could be seen.
