Category: External galaxy.
Class: E4
Constellation: Hya
Data: mag 9.8 size 6.6 x 4.5
Position: RA 11:51 DEC -28:48
Description:
In Hydra, at ~ 7½° S-W of Epsilon Crv. First, I see an object of stellar in appearance, which was taken for the galaxy initially. On the other hand, I found that its site observed with the binoculars was slightly more in the South that what my SkyAtlas indicated. I thus left my Herald-Bobroff Astro-Atlas to note that this object of stellar appearance is indeed a star, and not NGC 3923. The galaxy is slightly more in North, as what I perceived in the FOV of my instrument.
