Description:
NGC2911; Mag 11.5, Size 2.0' X 2.0', RA 09:33.5, DEC +10:09
A fairly large, faint, round, uniform nebulous patch. It shows no detectable
brightening toward the core. The galaxy is located 3' NW of an 11th
magnitude field star and 5' NW of NGC2914. NGC2912 which is plotted 5' NE
of NGC2911 could not be seen. NGC2919 located 17' NE was suspected at 128x
but could not be recovered. NGC2911 was visible with averted vision at 77x
and best seen at 128x.
