Description:
In Triangulum, ~ 2 ½ ° SW of Alpha Tri. Beautiful and compact open cluster. It
presents a very characteristic ovoid form. Except HD 1142, no member of the
cluster is visible individually with 9x63 binoculars. Note that the position
provided by The Sky is ~ 10 ' shifted north of the exact position. The wrong
position for this object is known for some time and present in almost all the
atlases.
