Constellation: And
Data: mag 9 size 17"
Position: RA 23:26 DEC +43:
Description:
Very bright and intensively blue-green at 78x. At that magnification the nebula
shows up almost star-like. At high power (342x) the color remains bright blue-
green. Some mottling and a possible darkening towards the center show up at
that magnification. No central star visible. The brightness of the object makes it
difficult to make out details within the small round cloud. Seeing (not perfect
tonight) is also an important factor.
