(meteorobs) Aries-Triangulids




   One point from all this lively discussion, it that we can agree to
disagree. People have different points of view (pun intended). I would
agree with George Z. about the 30 degree distance from the A-T radiant
IF YOU LOOK 30 DEGREES ABOVE the radiant. That way you will see A-T
meteors moving radially (sp?) away from the radiant (pretty well, but not
as well as right at the radiant). However, although he has a valid point
for plotting the A-T meteors, when COUNTING you should FACE THE RADIANT.
I feel that this radiant is eight degrees or more in size; so observers
should count any meteors seen within the area. Like many other meteor
showers, there could be a complex of radiants (Kronk's research supports
this). Of course, this is only my humble opinion.
