(meteorobs) Geminid maximum 1996

                               Geminids 1996

The 1996 Geminids showed the typical behaviour of that shower. Observers
in the night December 12/13 reported many faint meteors, whereas the second
half of the night Dec 13/14, after 0h UT, was dominated by many brighter
meteors in the range -1m to +2m. The maximum was on December 13, 23h UT,
corresponding to a solar longitude of 282.28 deg (J2000). The follwing
observers kindly made their data available as electronic messages or by
