Dang!  I crawled back in bed at 5:55 a.m., after observing Hale-Bopp.
It's actually been clear for three days in a row here in Seattle.
Looks like we'll have one or two more.  I won't venture a magnitude
guess, but HB is definitely a naked-eye fuzzy blob, and impressive in
my simple 7x50 binoculars.  I like plotting the day to day movement.
I've got to get my barn-door drive finished before HB peaks.

I'll check around my group, but they're not likely to be reliable
observers.  Most of them would be in cars if they're outside.
