Yes they are stronger, if you allow for the much lower elevation, than
the NDA at mid-northern latitudes where most telescopic observers
reside. The iota-Aquarids are weaker again.  One of the strongest
telescopic showers was from the Sagittarius region around July 30.
Telescopic observations from those located south of 35N would be
especially welcome.
