(meteorobs) More Aurigids from Canada...

Hi guys,

Got a nice night in last night, observed from near Almonte, Ontario.
Temperature was about 5C (41F)... nice thick green auroral arc with spikes
in the north... Canada geese flying overhead... fans on in the watermelon
patch...

Got a good 5 hours in, total of 58 meteors, had 35 SPO, 5 AUR, 5 DAU, 5 NIA,
4 SPI, 3 PER, 1 ERI. Plotted 10 of the sporadics, nothing too startling.

Wayne, hope you New England guys are getting some of this clear stuff...
looks good here again tonight, but can't head out tonight... have a job
interview at dawn tomorrow. Forecast is for socking in here for the weekend...

Cool up here, even put on a toque and woollen gloves last night... have the
kind with the fingerless gloves, and the mitten flap that folds over for
colder weather. Not quite longjohn weather... but getting there...
