From: naskies@yahoo.com (NA Skies)
Subject: Meteor observation reports requested
Date: 28 Jan 98 20:44:52 GMT

On 1/27/98 at just after noon (yes, noon!), a large fireball was seen
descending steeply north and a little west of Breckenridge, Colorado. We
request that anyone with knowledge of this event contact us at
starman@usadot net or through the meteor sighting report form located on the
following page:

http://www.webcom.com/safezone/NAS/index.htm

in the link entitled "Need to report a sighting?"

If warranted, the Denver Museum of Natural History will mount a search
party. We also are looking for additional observations of a large bolide
shortly after midnight on the morning of Sunday, January 11. This object
appears to have crashed somewhere 40 to 50 miles southeast of Denver. If
you
live in this area and have any knowledge, please contact us as soon as
possible.

Please forward or repost this as widely as possible.

Thank you
