What's a factor of two in astronomy? (-: It's a question of a
threshold in terms of tons of TNT as to which ones to include. I
don't have my WGNs, meteor books, and the Observatory's recent S&Ts
are being bound, so I couldn't check my facts, hence my caveat.

The Sikhote-Alin was a shower of meteorites rather than one big
integrated body. If the shower had landed on a city, there would have
been a big mess especially where the largest (about 2 tonnes) hit, but
would many people have been killed? There weren't vast swaths of
trees flattened, were there? Readers should consult the article in
S&T about a year ago for more-precise details.

I was thinking of Tunguska and one in Brazil.
