More seriously...
Of course we are interested in slow fireballs that change direction because they could NOT be meteors
going at cosmic velocity. Such things, whatever they are, contaminate our fireball data. Because we
do not yet understand the electro-dynamic process that makes them, some attribute them to E.T. Aliens.
More likely they are ionospheric discharges, or the left over plasma and electro-hydro-dynamic shock waves
left after the actual meteor has vaporized. Questions I would ask the observers are: Was the sky clear?
Were there thunder storms nearby, or severe storms at the conjugate geomagnetic location? Were there
any other eletromagnetic activity at the time like aurora or sky glow?
Less seriously...
Aliens here? Our immigration service here would send them home. But how would the immigration service
tell if they were E.T. aliens?
